A better Sunday for TF children
This Sunday (15th February, 2009), 50 children from our evening remedial classes (Mother Project) participated in a picnic along with 300 other children from 7 different organizations. The picnic took place at Meghnad Garden, Kolkata (near Ruby General Hospital).
The picnic was organized by BHARANI, a Kolkata-based organization dedicated to the welfare of deprived children. We have a strong collaboration with BHARANI and our children participate in most of the activities organized by the organization. Recently, on 28th December 2008, our children stood first in the inter-NGO cultural competition organized by BHARANI.
For our children it was a big opportunity as they got to meet many other children from different parts of the city, interacted with them and participated in sports, games and cultural activities. We are thankful to BHARANI for providing our children this opportunity.
