Samir Bayan
lives in the slums of Sarat Bose Road He is with Tomorrows
Foundation since he was a kid. With the support from TF, he has
passed out the Secondary as well as the Higher Secondary exams and
right now he is doing his B.A from Netaji Open School. Samir also
works for a private organization. He is learning computer
applications through TF’s computer literacy program.

Basanti Debnath
lives in the slums of Sarat Bose Road. She is a Second year student
of the South Calcutta Girls College. She is with TF for ages. Her
father drives a private car. Shakuntala, her sister and her brother
Ganesh are both associated with TF. Besides studying, at the same
time Basanti has taken up the responsibility of being a teacher for
the PP class of TF Remedial coaching unit. She is also learning
computer applications. She is fond of music and loves to be a part
of TF’s cultural team.

Next
to the Tally Nala in Chetla lives Munmun Paul. She has passed
out her secondary school exams with a First division and at present
is a student of the twelve standard. She has grown up and achieved
things absolutely the hard way. TF is with her. Presently she is
learning Computer applications through TF’s Computer Literacy
Program. |

Anil Tanti
lives somewhere around Sonarpur. He is a Class XII Commerce student.
He passed out his Secondary school exams in First Division from Lake
View School in 2004. At present Anil is carrying on his education
living at TF’s Half-Way Home. He is also experiencing the Computer
Literacy Program.

Subrata Debnath
studies at Kailash Vidyamandir. He is a student of Class IX. He
lives with her mother in the footpath that lies right in front of
the Overseas Bank in Kalighat. His mother runs a clothing business
on the footpath. Subrata dreams to be a Kick Boxer. This year he has
won a Gold Medal from Junior Level (56 Kg) category at the National
Level Kick Boxing Competition. He has interest in computers and
loves acting. He is an important character from the Drama team at TF.

Purnima is
with TF for the past few years. Presently a student of Class X, P is
also attending the Computer literacy program. She was almost in the
verge of leaving her education for her family could not afford it
any more. For TF being with her, today Purnima is preparing for her
future. Presently she is a student of Deshapran Virendranath Girls
High School.

Dipankar Modak
lives behind the Keoratala Burning Ghat, around the Tally Nullah
area. He has lost his mother a few years back. His father and his
brother are busy earning for a day to day living, so he has to do
all he house hold work. Dipankar is learning computers and is
passionate about acting. He is with TF since his childhood days. He
studies in Class IX at Sahanagar High School.

Susmita –
she lives with her father, mother, grandmother and two brothers in
the slums of Manoharpukur Road. On failing twice at Class VIII she
joined TF Open school cell and passed out in Second Division from
Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya. Susmita is preparing to appear for the
higher secondary exams from the same school. Meanwhile she has
passed out B.T on teachers training from Teachers Training
Institute. Presently she is a teacher at TF Model School. Like her
education and training, she plays an equally responsible role at
home.

Deboshree
was never fond of traditional schools. TF has encouraged her to pass
out secondary exams through Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya and engage her
at a beautician course. At present she is running her own business
on completion of the course. Deboshree is also simultaneously
preparing herself for the higher secondary exams. She loves to dance
and belongs to the dance team.

Kalyani could not pass out
the Secondary exams. But she has nothing to loose for today she runs
her own business. She completed the Beautician course with the
support from TF. Income from business has shown the light of
sufficiency in her life. In future Kalyani wants to support children
in need.
